It was a weekend full of musical fun in the capital with this year's Deep in the City festival which attracted many revellers.
The second Deep Dive Seafood and Wine Festival also took place in Windhoek on Saturday with the cream of the local music crop setting the stage alight. Several South African artists, including the Samson Brothers and the rock group Watershed, also performed. Various chefs, such as South Africa's Benny Masekwameng as well as Keanu Diegaardt and Mark Jacobs, also presented food demonstrations at this festival.
The 2024 Deep in the City festival took place at the Windhoek showgrounds and was a two-day celebration of music, culture and togetherness.
The event, which was presented on Saturday and yesterday, was a huge success thanks to the careful planning by the organisers, Jurra Inn.
It was clear that no detail had been overlooked. The venue was beautifully decorated with eye-catching brands, which created an inviting and energetic atmosphere.
The festival also catered for diverse musical tastes, with performances from Emmanuel Rose to the dynamic Tumi Mohamed, DJ Kiki and others.
Each performance brought its unique flair, ensuring the crowd was constantly engaged.
The event attracted residents and music lovers from elsewhere, showcasing the event's growing reputation.
It was clear that Deep in the City exceeded all expectations and secured its place on Namibia's entertainment calendar.
