• 09:00 The second Liefde by die Nam music festival takes place at the WHS Vegkop stadium in Windhoek, with performances by top South African and local artists. Tickets: N$299 and up via www.liefdebydiedam.co.za
• 10:00 The Goethe-Institut in Windhoek hosts a family Oktoberfest and open day, with good music, delicious food, children's activities, craft beer and more. Tickets: N$30 at the gates.
• 10:00 Art in Action workshop at the Goethe-Institut until noon. Attendees embark on a creative adventure by using material from mystery boxes to create art pieces on a life-sized tree trunk. Entrance is free.
• 16:00 Celebrate as Sound Garden in Swakopmund turns 4, with a performance by The Yesterdaye.
