Ndako Nghipandulwa’s first solo exhibition Just Because opens at The Project Room on Friday (21 October) at 18:00.
The up-and-coming artist known for his signature style of string and nails has seen a growing fan base over the last couple of years, presenting his work on a number of platforms and group exhibitions, the most recent of which was the Beijing International Art Biennale (held from January to March 2022). “I believe I’ve narrowed it down now. I’ve started seeing a lot more structure in my work, and that’s what gave me the confidence to take on this solo exhibition.”
Just Because will be on view at The Project Room from 21 October to 5 November 2022. The gallery is located in Lazarette Square on 30 Julius Nyerere Street in the capital.
