Namibian landscape art celebrated in next online auction

Strauss & Co announced its upcoming May timed online auction, which features a special focus session titled Namibian Horizons.
This auction presents a rare opportunity for art collectors and enthusiasts to own a piece of Namibia's natural beauty through a selection of 37 extraordinary and pristine Namibian landscape paintings and other subjects by Namibian artists.
One of the highlights of the sale is a notable example by Adolph Jentsch titled South West Africa Landscape (estimate N$200 000 – N$300 000).
The auction showcases a diverse range of works including oil paintings like Maud Sumner’s large-scale Lagoon, Walvis Bay (estimate N$60 000 – N$80 000), watercolours, and prints of Namibia, by notable artists including J.H. Pierneef, Adolph Jentsch, and Johannes Blatt.
