Young Namibians spread their wings

Seventeen Namibians recently left for the United States where they will participate in the Mandela Washington Fellowship for six weeks.
Over the coming weeks, they will participate in leadership activities at 28 educational institutions in 21 US states. They will be challenged to develop innovative solutions to issues in their home countries in collaboration with counterparts from the US and other African countries.
After that, they will gather for three days in Washington D.C., for a summit where the society's tenth anniversary will be celebrated.
American companies and organisations are invited to this event to share their work in Africa and rub shoulders with future African leaders.
