EMTs join CX Day

On Tuesday last week, Bank Windhoek’s Executive Management Team (EMT) took part in celebrating International Customer Experience Day (CX Day) by joining frontline staff at various branches in Windhoek. The event, part of the global Customer Experience Month observed every October, highlighted the bank’s commitment to exceptional customer service.
During their visits, EMT members actively engaged with customers, personally assisting them with transactions and offering support. This initiative demonstrated Bank Windhoek’s dedication to ensuring a positive customer experience at every level of the organisation. The bank’s leadership reinforced the importance of prioritising customer needs, aligning with this year’s theme: “Good CX delivers better outcomes for customers, employees, and organisations.”
Ryan Geyser, Bank Windhoek’s Executive Officer of Digital Data and Customer Transformation, visited the Maerua Mall branch, emphasising the bank’s recent efforts to modernise its branches. He noted that the transformations are designed to provide a comfortable atmosphere, enabling customers to interact with staff while waiting or using self-service hubs, promoting independence and enhancing the overall banking experience.
Throughout October, Bank Windhoek plans to continue its focus on customer-centric approaches, with initiatives aimed at improving interactions and delivering top-tier service.
Jacquiline Pack, Executive Officer for Marketing and Corporate Communication Services, visited the Capricorn branch, where she assisted staff and interacted with customers at the inquiries desk, showcasing the bank’s hands-on approach to customer service.
Staff across all branches were encouraged to share examples of how they prioritised customer satisfaction, reinforcing Bank Windhoek’s core value of putting customers first. The EMT concluded by expressing the significance of these engagements in strengthening the relationship between the bank and its customers, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to continually enhancing the customer experience.
