Nyati Wildlife Art - born from passion

From veld to foyer
Hunting in Africa represents a lifestyle that can be celebrated and expressed in many different ways.
Nyati Wildlife Art was established in 2004 by professional hunter and founder Manfred Egerer who recognised the need for a quality taxidermy service in Namibia.
Manfred and his team of 27 skilled craftsmen make it their business to ensure you know your trophy is in good hands throughout the whole process. The team at Nyati Wildlife Art respect the animals that were hunted. That is why they keep you informed on the progress made and why they aim to deliver quality work within a reasonable time frame at a realistic price.
Manfred is serious about what they do. Their focus is not only on quality and service but also on being creative in their approach.
“Nyati Wildlife Art is a one-stop facility. From the pick-up of the trophies to the shipping, we offer a complete, personalised taxidermy service. We create unique custom-made trophy mounts for each client. From the veld to your foyer!” Manfred says.
Because for Nyati Wildlife Art it’s not just a trophy - it’s a reminder of that single incredible moment that comes after months of planning, waiting and finally taking the perfect shot.
Nyati Wildlife Art treats every mount as special and expertly crafts it into a masterpiece.

Services
Soon after your hunting safari is complete, Nyati will arrange for the collection of your trophies from your hunting outfitter. As soon as your trophies and paperwork have been received, their team will make contact and discuss your order. “We encourage our clients to tell us exactly what they want, thus every order is custom-made,” Manfred says.
Thereafter the experienced team cleans and bleaches the skull, allowing it to be displayed on a wall, table or shelf. This allows for the additional option of tanning the hide for use as a rug or is manufactured into trophy mounts.
If you wish to have your taxidermy processed at a later stage, Nyati offers a Dip & Pack service.
This is the sterilising process necessary to export any raw animal parts across international borders. It is the removal of all flesh and tissue from skulls, horns and bones as well as the drying and bleaching of skulls and bones. The hide is dried, cleaned and treated with anti-bacterial products to ensure your trophy arrives in a dry, and pest-free condition.

Tanning
Nyati Wildlife Art has its own tanning facility to tan your trophy’s hide to the highest standard. This is where they begin the process of turning the raw skin, which is susceptible to degradation, into a durable product.
The tanning process takes three months.
Quality is no coincidence. “We bring extensive experience to the table when it comes to crafting your trophy in a way that honours the animal and your hunting memories, from collection to final touch,” Manfred says.
Nyati also handles the packaging and storage of trophies following the completion of cleaning and/or taxidermy and tanning work. This involves arranging CITES inspections and ISO-coding of trophies where applicable; obtaining export permits and veterinary certificates; cargo bookings and customs formalities. They connect to a worldwide network of trusted clearing agents specializing in the importation of hunting trophies.
Make your hunting experience a talking point for years to come with Nyati Wildlife Art.
