TransNamib launches whistleblower line

Aims to strengthen transparency and accountability
Staff reporter
TransNamib has launched a dedicated whistleblower line, supporting the company’s commitment to ethical business practices, transparency and accountability.
Furthermore, the initiative aims to provide employees, customers and stakeholders with a secure and confidential platform to report any unethical behaviour, fraud, corruption or misconduct within the organisation.
The whistleblower line is an independent and anonymous reporting channel that allows individuals to share concerns without fear of retaliation. TransNamib encourages all stakeholders to use this platform responsibly to help maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism within the organisation.
TransNamib chief executive Desmond van Jaarsveld emphasised the importance in good governance as the foundation for transformation within the company and rebuilding confidence in the organisation. “Our commitment to good corporate governance and ethical leadership remains unwavering. The whistleblower line is an important step in ensuring that any wrongdoing is identified and addressed promptly, protecting the integrity of our operations and the trust of our stakeholders.”
Reports can be made by calling 0800 402 501 or sending an email to [email protected], or visiting www.tip-offs.com
TransNamib gave the assurance to whistleblowers that their identity will remain confidential, and all reports will be investigated thoroughly.
