Platonic Academy, EduLink take hands

In a milestone for Namibia’s education sector, Platonic Academy Namibia, a STEM-focused institution, has partnered with International Education Link (EduLink), a global leader in academic facilitation, to expand international opportunities for Namibian students.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 10 April 2025 in Johannesburg by EduLink founder Christine Whittaker and Platonic Academy chief executive Frank Mungunda. The agreement names Platonic Academy as EduLink’s exclusive partner and local brand ambassador in Namibia.
This partnership reinforces Platonic Academy’s mission to empower students through STEM excellence while bridging Africa’s skills gap with global academic access. EduLink has facilitated university admissions, scholarships and visas for over 50 000 African students across 400 top institutions, maintaining a 100% visa success rate through rigorous screening.
By combining EduLink’s expertise with Platonic Academy’s local leadership, Namibian students now benefit from tailored academic pathways, mentorship, and streamlined application processes. EduLink’s student-centric model is built on four pillars: academic merit, program alignment, financial accessibility, and lifestyle preferences - ensuring holistic support throughout each student’s journey.
Mungunda highlighted education as a key driver of Africa’s renaissance, saying, “This partnership goes beyond academics - it’s about cultivating ethical leaders who will transform industries and communities. Investing in education is investing in Africa’s future.”
Whittaker praised the collaboration’s potential, stating, “This reflects the spirit of Ubuntu; families, educators, and partners working together to build bridges for Namibia’s future.”
Namibian students can now access personalised academic support at Platonic Academy’s Windhoek campus, including counselling, aptitude assessments and tutoring to boost global competitiveness.
The initiative targets critical skills gaps in fields like renewable energy and advanced technology, ensuring returning graduates contribute meaningfully to national development.
This partnership marks a major step in democratizing world-class education, positioning Namibia as a hub for innovation and sustainable progress. Platonic Academy and EduLink reaffirm their shared mission to shape globally agile, ethically grounded leaders for Africa’s future.
