Nominate 'tree heroes' for Arbor Day
The Botanical Society of Namibia is seeking nominations for annual Tree Awards to be announced at National Arbor Day on 13 October.The society says it issues the awards and certificates to any person, company, school or foundation that makes a significant contribution to the protection and promotion of native trees.
These persons or institutions can be nominated by any other person, regardless of whether the nominator is a member of the society or not.
The name of the person or institution, a short description, an address and photographs, where possible, can be sent to Barbara Curtis at [email protected] before 6 September.
