Last Saturday, the Windhoek Carnival Society (Wika) held its kick-off for this year's carnival. The Wika kick-off took place at the SKW. Pictured here are Wika President Holger Mentzel (left) and the Managing Director of the Namibian Breweries (NBL), Waldemar von Lieres, pose with the reigning prince and princess of 2024/25, Prince Norbert I (right), and his princess Svenja I (second from right). Anyone who doesn't want to miss the carnival should get their tickets now, starting with the Royal Ball, which takes place on Thursday, 27 March 27 in the SKW Hall.
