Join the City of Windhoek for a colourful spring market on Saturday!The market takes place in the CBD along Independence Avenue near Post Street Mall and the Zoo Park from 09:00 to 20:00.
The Windhoek Market transforms Independence Avenue into a lively space, featuring strategically placed gazebos where businesses can promote and sell their products. Residents and visitors can expect a variety of entertainment, street performances, and exhibitions, as well as dedicated food carts offering delicious local cuisine and beverages.
This exciting event is in line with the City of Windhoek's Economic Development Division’s mandate which promotes economic opportunities and supports small businesses. The Windhoek Spring Market aims to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs, artisans, and small businesses to showcase their products and services, with a distinct blend of retail, culture and entertainment.
The event also promotes economic growth by generating revenue for local vendors, contributing to Windhoek's overall economic development.
There will be a children's entertainment area to provide a family-friendly experience, as well as a City of Windhoek village where residents can learn more about the city's services.
