WIKA 2023: Wake-up party on the cards

If you would like to participate in the fun that the Windhoek Carnival brings to the Namibian capital every year, then you should definitely make a note of the dates on the attached posters. Take note that the event previously known as BIWAK will now take place on 11 March 2023 under the name and style of "Wika Wake-up Party". It will be held at the Old Brewery complex behind the Namibia Craft Centre in the CBD. This kick-off is followed by the “Prinzenball” (Royal Ball) on 24 March, where after Windhoek's jesters will "run" the city until 1 April. And no, this is not an April Fool's joke!
