Navigating the job market

Youth in Namibia are confronted with the challenge of securing jobs. The challenge affects all youth, including those who have graduated in different fields, those without qualifications, and those who wish to redirect their careers.
This edition of Career Focus highlights possible ways to lessen the burden that comes with unemployment. It will also enlighten youth on the requirements of potential employers and ways to be employable.
Additionally, the guide will provide alternative ways of becoming financially stable while nourishing desired careers.
If you missed it, the Career Virtual Experience (Career VX), an online expo, took place on 20 September.
The expo tackled various topics, including potential solutions to the issue of unemployment.
Several organisations presented opportunities for individuals aiming to enter the job market and achieve success. Additionally, some participants shared their personal stories of career motivation, illustrating how they've ventured into successful alternative paths as entrepreneurs.
