JUST IN: CoW cleaners meet with Amushelelo

A group of ward cleaners this morning gathered at the City of Windhoek (CoW) premises for a meeting with economic freedom activist Micheal Amushelelo. "There is no clarity on why they were meeting here. Without any official notification, we cannot call it a protest. In the past, they met with council and some concerns were that they wanted to be employed permanently and they wanted benefits. I am not sure if those were the things they talked about, because we were not invited," said CoW spokesperson Lydia Amutenya. Photos Contributed
