German trainees help maintain NWR resorts
Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) announced that 100 trainees from the German Foundation for Intercultural Relations will support the NWR team in maintaining the local resorts.In a media release by NWR, the company says that the cooperation, which also includes the transfer of specialist knowledge to the local hospitality industry, will strengthen diplomatic relations between Namibia and Germany.
The delegation of trainees with professional and technical knowledge, led by Joachim Keferstein, is scheduled to come to Namibia in three groups, with the first group arriving today. The second group will follow in November, and the final group is scheduled to arrive in February 2024.
The trainees will be deployed at NWR resorts throughout Namibia, where they will bring their expertise to maintenance operations while benefiting from the experience and insights of NWR employees.
“The transfer of knowledge is of utmost importance for our industry, and this collaboration offers us a unique opportunity to learn from our German partners, while they in turn can benefit from our experiences,” the statement said.
