Lafrenz roadworks progressing
The decongestion and upgrade of the entrance to Lafrenz continues on Eneas Peter Nanyemba Road east of the B2 interchange to Omulunga Street.The next phase is scheduled to start on 27 August and will continue until 15 October.
According to a public notice by the City of Windhoek, during this period Lafrenz Street will be closed and traffic will be rerouted to the newly constructed westbound lanes.
A temporary detour will be provided via Rensburger Street and Industria Street to facilitate access to areas affected by the construction.
In light of this, the CoW has requested that members of the public observe the traffic signage and access restrictions in the vicinity of the construction site.
