The Roads Authority (RA) announced the temporary deviation of traffic on a section of road on the existing B6 road (Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport) to a temporary access road.
Furthermore, the RA said that the existing entrance to Hosea Kutako International Airport is currently not accessible and that traffic is deviated to a temporary access road.

Road signs have been installed to guide motorists through the temporary routes. Thus, travellers are advised to allow for an extra 5 minutes of travel time when planning their trips along this route to avoid delays.
Motorists are advised to adhere to the speed limits and exercise caution when travelling in the construction area.
