Water interruptions in Klein Windhoek, Olympia
Residents in Klein Windhoek and Olympia are reminded of the public notice issued by the Windhoek Municipality announcing interruptions in the municipal water supply.Yesterday, the distribution network at the corner of Schanzen Road and Nelson Mandela Avenue was affected by the replacement of water valves, and this work is currently being completed.
Meanwhile, this morning (17 July) work is being carried out on the main water connection at the corner of Von Eckenbrecher Street and Nelson Mandela Avenue, which is expected to interrupt water supply in this area until 13:00.
Tomorrow (18 July) the water supply will be affected by work on the connection at the corner of Eland and Frank Fredericks streets in Olympia, where water supply is expected to be interrupted from 08:00 to 16:00.
Residents are asked to make alternative water supply arrangements in this time.
