The Namibian mining sector remains a cornerstone of the national economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), job creation and infrastructure development. As the industry continues to evolve, it is vital to strive for sustainable growth and shared prosperity for all stakeholders.
In line with these aspirations, the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Chamber of Mines, has created an opportunity to engage with the business community on the sidelines of the Mining Expo & Conference taking place at the Windhoek showgrounds today and tomorrow.
The expo is themed “Sustaining Growth: Towards increased shared prosperity in Namibia’s Mining Sector” and aims to provide stakeholders with insights into relevant national policies, processes, practices, tax regulations and government initiatives.
During the event, the NIPDB will host a presentation on business support for investors to help them navigate the investment environment in Namibia through their Investor One Stop Centre.
