NMH celebrates Christmas season

Tanja Bause
In the spirit of the festive season, Namibia Media Holdings (NMH) is in the process of enlisting the support of various sponsors in an effort to ensure that various charities can have a happy Christmas this year.
In the four weeks preceding Christmas, this support will help the HIV/AIDS community, the Vulnerable Children project, The Ark Rescue (animal protection) and the Katutura old age home.
Readers can also benefit as NMH launches an Advent calendar on Tuesday, 28 November. This will enable readers to open one window per day in December and stand a chance to win a Pick n Pay voucher every day until 25 December.
To stand chance of winning, buy a newspaper to scan the correct QR code. During weekends and holidays, you will need to find the click-to-action campaign on the online platforms of NMH's publications.
The person who wins on Sundays will become "Santa Claus" for a day, since that person will not receive the prize money themselves, but rather nominate a charity that will receive the money. In this way, the winner is also the giver.
For the kids
As from 28 November, children can also prepare to participate in our competition. On this day, look for the envelope that you can cut out and follow the following steps:
1. Cut out and fill in the spaces - as indicated - on the inside of the envelope;
2. Draw your artwork in this space;
3. Remember to scan the QR code to follow the instructions and register. Ask your parents to help you;
4. Seal your envelope and wait for Distribution Hub Namibia (DHN) to collect your envelope;
5. Within seven days, DHN will deliver a free gift to you (all children are welcome to participate);
6. Keep an eye on Allgemeine Zeitung, Republikein and Namibian Sun, as they will all be publishing electronic news pages on their websites during the days when the printing presses are closed for Christmas. You may see your photo on one of the pages dedicated to this project. Your artwork may be the winning image. – [email protected]
