Working towards a cleaner capital - together

The City of Windhoek and the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism celebrated World Clean-Up Day in Otjomuise last weekend.
Councillor Fransina Kahungu led community members in a clean-up event, with the chairperson of the Khomas Regional Council and Member of Parliament for the John Pandeni Constituency delivering a keynote address on behalf of the environment minister.
The City of Windhoek thanked Rent-A-Drum and the Namibian Defence Force for their support, adding: "Thank you to our sponsors, Coca-Cola Namibia, FNB Namibia and the Environmental Investment Fund for making this event possible. Together we are making our city cleaner and greener." Photo CoW
