Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group CEO Wessie Van Der Westhuizen and O&L chief culture officer (COO) Sonja Thieme are set to resign from their respective roles in the company, O&L executive chairman Sven Thieme announced.
Their leadership has significantly contributed to the growth and success of O&L, instilling values of integrity, inclusivity and sustainability within the company's corporate culture.
"As we prepare for this transition, we remain committed to maintaining the high standards they have set," Thieme said.
"Wessie and Sonja's tenure at the O&L Group has been marked by significant achievements and enduring contributions. Their visionary leadership, coupled with a deep sense of empathy and cultural understanding, has helped shape the company's ethos and direction. Bidding farewell to the duo, Thieme thanked them both for their exemplary leadership, dedication and unwavering commitment throughout their tenure.
“As the O&L Group bids farewell to Wessie and Sonja in their current capacities, the O&L family stands united in offering comfort, compassion and solidarity to Wessie and Sonja as they embark on this new chapter of their lives. Their impact on the organisation has been profound, and their legacy will endure," said Thieme.
