As head boy of Oshakati SSS's LRC committee for 2025, I have learned that leadership qualities or your instinct has to switch to the situation at hand. For example, your kindness has to divert to being a soldier or a commander in some cases otherwise you might fail to do justice to the situation. This helps me learn different leadership skills. That means being democratic sometimes and other times autocratic for the sake of effectiveness. As head boy, I have learned that sometimes you need to sacrifice on behalf of others; even to apologise to keep the team working. I am learning a lot and expanding my skills and knowledge.
