Market Day showcases skills, creativity
In an effort to raise funds, Delta Secondary School organised its own Market Day, an event open to the public. This provided Deltarians with a chance to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and offered an opportunity to learn new skills.The school grounds were transformed into a bustling marketplace, adorned with colourful stalls offering a wide variety of products and services.
From bakery delights to exclusive lounges with gaming consoles and raffle draws, we had it all. The event brought together students, teachers, parents and outsiders to celebrate the brilliant and creative ideas formulated for the sole purpose of generating profits for the school.
This event was the result of teamwork, as classes brainstormed creative ideas for weeks leading up to the spectacular day. With support from everyone, the day was a resounding success, paving the way for another successful event in the second term.
