We have spirit!

On 29 January, Delta Secondary School officially kicked off its annual Spirit Week. Throughout the week, Deltarians rallied their spirits to earn points for their respective teams.
On the first day, Delta principal Mr Namwiha cut the ribbon to inaugurate Spirit Week. Teams Alpha, Beta and Gamma each performed a song, igniting enthusiasm across the entire school. Additionally, our teachers embraced the theme by dressing as their favourite countries, with a wide variety of choices. The learners cast their votes for the best-dressed teacher, and Ms Januarie emerged as the winner!
On day two, our teachers had to dress as Deltarian learners and we hosted an 'anything but a bag' day. What caught almost everyone's attention was the learner who brought a microwave as a bag! A market day was held whereby learners were granted the opportunity to sell delicious goods to Delta students. The different teams were given another opportunity to show us what they got through their amazing team song cheers.
Day three was the Big Brag! This day is when each team sings two or three songs to boast to their opponents. We also had some special guests in attendance, including Kosmos FM and Pupkewitz, along with inspiring speakers delivering speeches that our students will surely remember and providing advice on various future career paths. And, of course, we couldn't conclude the day without reciting the Delta School creed.
