The Youth Turn Project was recently launched by the Your Turn Move (YTM) Foundation, an organisation devoted to empowering Namibian youth. In addition, the foundation launched the eagerly awaited White Nossob Runners Club in Witvlei.
The White Nossob Runners Club is a diverse organisation with a focus on running and a track and field or running-related approach. This club was launched in Witvlei, and Windhoek has one as well.
The foundation hosted an informative career exhibition and information-sharing session sponsored by Letshego Bank Namibia, with key organisations such as the Namibia Training Authority, the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund, the TK Institute Vocational Training Centre, the Christian Family Centre, and the National Youth Council.
During the event, Christine //Hoebes, minister in the presidency, emphasised the value of youth development in creating future leaders in all fields. She urged young Namibians to collaborate to build the Namibian House by promoting harmony and prosperity for the neighbourhood and the country.
The event included entertaining activities including wire sculpture, canvas paints, glass bottle artwork, and tyre paintings. Participants demonstrated their artistic abilities and innovative thinking in this way.
The foundation's objective to empower and create chances for the Namibian youth by establishing opportunities for growth, education, and personal development has advanced significantly with the creation of the White Nossob Runners Club and the Youth Turn Project.
