The multifaceted Basson

Razilla Zharné Basson is an ambitious 27-year-old and she is born and bred in Rehoboth. She recently started working at Namibia Media Holdings (NMH) under Synergy Marketing as the Vacancies Administrator. She provides information and quotes to clients that want to place vacancy adverts.
Basson is excited about her new appointment as she believes it will allow her to exercise what she has learned. “Having the opportunity to approach new work and find ways to add value and my experience from different industries I have learned from,” said Basson.
Background
She attended Joseph’s Primary and continued her studies at Dr. Lemmer Secondary School. Showing that she is multifaceted she went to NIMT in Arandis for her tertiary education where she studied Fashion Designing. “This is where I developed my love for clothes and designing and finished my Level 3 in 2018,” she added. Basson also did courses on Paramedics where she obtained a BLS Certificate and worked for Emed Rescue in Walvis Bay from 2015- 2016.
Basson describes herself as an extrovert who enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. She is also family oriented and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. In addition, she loves to indulge in active sports such as netball and Volleyball.
Challenges
“My biggest challenge was adjusting to a new city and working environment, but that came together much smoother than I thought it would because of the connections I made in and around NMH.” Said Basson
She also added that her new position has highly challenged her at the beginning as she is used to working out in the field and not in office spaces, however, she is embracing the new experience saying, “There is nothing wrong with trying something different.”
