Sisedi Investment Group appoints Tjaronda to drive investment research

In September, Sisedi Investment Group - a fully black Namibian-owned asset management company - announced the appointment of Arney Tjaronda as its new research analyst.
Having previously worked at Simonis Storm as a researcher before making his way to Sisendi, Tjaronda brings a strong background in finance and investment analysis.
His career path in the finance sector began in 2021, during his time at the University of Namibia (Unam), where he earned an honours degree in business administration with a major in banking and finance.
His interest in finance deepened after attending a lecture by an expert from the Bank of Namibia, which inspired him to write opinion pieces on topics such as hedge funds. These articles gained him recognition within the financial community and led to an internship with High Economic Intelligence, where he eventually advanced to the position of junior analyst.
One of Tjaronda's key achievements was producing a valuation report for MTC when it was listed on the Namibian Stock Exchange.

Dynamic expertise
As Sisedi’s new research analyst, Tjaronda will focus on identifying emerging investment opportunities that align with the company’s mission.
He plans to leverage financial modelling and sector analysis to provide actionable insights that will support informed decision-making and contribute to sustainable growth.
"What excites me most about joining Sisedi is the chance to work with a talented team of Namibian professionals dedicated to maximising value for clients," he said.
Hertha !Gontes, CEO and co-founder of Sisedi, expressed her excitement about Tjaronda's appointment.
“We believe in the power of data-driven insights and dynamic expertise. Our goal is to shape the future of investments in Namibia and beyond by developing local talent and unlocking new opportunities in the evolving investment landscape,” she said.
