Young chefs do Namibia proud
Namibia’s young chefs performed wonderfully in Kolkata, India, at Thursday’s World Food Competition 2023. Chandru Basson won the cooking competition at the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management, while Lize van der Merwe won the cake icing competition. They are both students of Roelien de Lange’s Purple Fig Cooking School in Windhoek. Congratulations Chefs and thank you for your hard work and passionate dedication. The Namibian team arrives back in Namibia on Saturday at 13:20.
