The environment, forestry and tourism ministry along with the Namibia Travel and Tourism Forum (NTTF), have launched an initiative aimed at encouraging travellers and accommodation providers to preserve Namibia’s precious water resources.
Two new posters have been designed featuring essential tips for saving water and supporting sustainable tourism.
Lodges and accommodation establishments are provided with practical water-saving techniques - from efficient water use to innovative solutions.
Travellers can learn how to be water-smart adventurers with tips for camping, lodging and travelling - from using reusable water bottles to mindful consumption.
“Your efforts can make a big impact. Let’s work together to protect our beautiful landscapes for future generations. Together, we can ensure that Namibia’s natural beauty thrives for years to come.
“Every drop saved makes a difference!”
