Law students undertake paint project for paediatrics
By the stipulations laid out for the LLB Legal Aid Clinic and Professional Ethics module, UNAM’s LLB students are required to undertake a community impact initiative as a component of their partial academic obligations. This initiative involves collaborative group efforts referred to as “firms”. These community impact projects encompass voluntary services rendered by students with the intent of benefiting both communities and individuals.
Cicero & Co, an entity formed for this purpose, intends to embark on a project to make contributions to and partially revitalising the condition of the paediatric department at the Katutura Health Centre (Black Chain Clinic).
Through this project, the students aim to paint the department and make donations ranging from cot beds, cardboard, drip stands, chairs and more.
Given this context, Cicero & Co. extends an invitation to the community to participate in this project to collectively contribute to the most underprivileged and susceptible members of society.
The donation handover and the execution of the project takes place on 11 October.
The execution of this project takes place under the supervision of Jamellee Janke, who can be contacted at [email protected], and the leader of the firm, Naboth De Celestino who can be contacted through [email protected].
