Liqui Fruit pledges N$120 000 to DTS

DTS Sports Club’s beach volleyball division has announced the continued sponsorship of Liqui Fruit, which has pledged N$120 000 for the 2025 season.In a statement issued yesterday, DTS said the renewed backing will allow it to host beach volleyball tournaments throughout the year, with a strong emphasis on rewarding athletic excellence through prize money.
The first tournament of the year, held from 7 to 8 March, featured a total prize pool of N$15 000. “This event marked a successful start to what promises to be another dynamic and competitive season of beach volleyball,” the statement read.
DTS beach volleyball chairperson Heiko Kesselmann expressed gratitude to Bokomo Namibia managing director Hubertus Hamm for Liqui Fruit’s continued support. “Their sponsorship plays a crucial role in the development of the sport and provides meaningful incentives for athletes to excel,” he said.
Kesselmann added that the partnership not only fuels the competitive spirit but also helps raise the profile of beach volleyball nationally. DTS looks forward to a successful 2025 season built on collaboration and community engagement.
