Namibia's First Representative at the FIVB International Referee's Candidate Course
Namibia's volleyball community is abuzz with pride as Mr. Fillemon Amupadhi, a distinguished national referee, embarks on a historic journey to the FIVB International Referee's Candidate Course (IRRC). Organized by the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), this prestigious event is set to unfold at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres Mly Rachid in Sale, Morocco, spanning from 7 to 15 July 2024.Mr. Amupadhi's selection as the sole representative from Namibia among 25 referees hailing from 21 African nations marks a watershed moment for volleyball in the country. His departure for Morocco over the weekend was met with accolades and high expectations from the Namibia Volleyball Federation (NVF) and the broader sports community.
Hillary Dux Imbuwa, President of the NVF, expressed profound pride in Mr. Amupadhi's achievement, highlighting its significance beyond personal success. "We are incredibly proud of Mr. Fillemon Amupadhi's selection to the FIVB International Referee's Candidate Course.
