Athlete’s Commission hosts representative forum

The Namibia Athletes’ Commission hosts the 2024 Athletes’ Representative Forum in the capital on 16 November and invites athlete representatives from all Namibian National Federations to a dynamic forum focused on strengthening athlete advocacy and representation within sports governance.
The forum features guest speakers Dr Ndeulipula Hamutumwa – an author, corporate strategist, business leader and passionate sports enthusiast – and Shoki Kandjimi, a specialist in corporate communication and public relations. Both will offer valuable perspectives on effective representation, communication strategies, and leadership in sports.
The event will be moderated by Olympian Maike Diekmann, chair of the Namibia Athletes’ Commission, and will be supported by Romio Goliath, active wrestling athlete and Vice Chair of the Commission.
