Cricket stadium gets naming sponsor
Cricket Namibia announced FNB as the official naming sponsor of the new cricket stadium. The announcement was made during a breakfast hosted by Cricket Namibia today, with the attendance of esteemed business partners. These breakfasts are a tradition, bringing together Cricket Namibia's sponsors and partners every three months. These engagements offer a valuable platform for networking and collaboration within the cricket community.
However, this particular breakfast stood out as Cricket Namibia's long-term partner, FNB, reaffirmed its commitment to cricket in Namibia. FNB, in collaboration with Cricket Namibia, announced their new role as the stadium naming sponsor and the Associate Partner to the Richelieu Eagles.

Cricket Namibia CEO, Johan Muller: “We are thankful and privileged to get FNB’s full support. They have been a consistent partner through our development program, and it is amazing to see their massive involvement now with the stadium and men’s cricket. We are proud to be associated with a brand like FNB. Thank you for supporting us in this journey as we create milestones together.”
The partnership between Cricket Namibia and FNB is secured through a three-year contract, extending up until just before the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027. This collaboration signifies a major milestone in Cricket Namibia's journey and highlights the continued support from FNB towards the growth and development of cricket in Namibia.
