NESA revs up for Assetto Corsa Competizione qualifiers

The Namibian Electronic Sports Association (NESA) officially announced the eagerly awaited national qualifiers for Assetto Corsa Competizione, setting the stage for an electrifying online race to determine the nation's top virtual racers.
The competition, taking place on 20 July 2024, promises to bring high-octane action and skilful driving as athletes battle it out in a high-stakes knockout race.
This year, NESA is committed to inclusivity by also selecting the top female racer to represent Namibia. This initiative underscores NESA's dedication to promoting gender equality in esports.
Registration for this event is open until 18 July 2024. All interested competitors must be registered and fully paid members of NESA to enter. Once registered, participants will be added to an official NESA WhatsApp group, where they will receive all necessary updates and rules for the competition.
The specifics of the race, including the track and car details, as well as the prize money, will be announced in due course on their social media pages, adding an element of anticipation among the participants and fans alike. This strategic decision ensures that all racers have equal preparation time and can compete at their best on race day.
NESA is proud to have the continued support of MTC and LogitechG, whose contributions have been instrumental in powering the journey of esports in Namibia.
As the national qualifiers approach, NESA poses a challenge to all aspiring racers: Who will take the lead and represent Namibia on the global stage? This is a call to all gamers to join the race, showcase their skills, and perhaps earn the honour of competing internationally.
