Namibia's Paralympic athletes are expected to land at Hosea Kutako International Airport at 20:30 tonight. The Minister of Sports, Youth and National Service said in a statement yesterday that Deputy Minister Emma Kantema-Gaomas will welcome the athletes. Tomorrow a parade is planned through Windhoek's streets in honour of the athletes, which will move from the Snyman circle to the Soweto market between 10:00 and 13:00. Among the team's achievements are Lahja Ishitile's gold medal in the 400m T11 and the bronze medal she and her guide, Sem Shimanda, won in the 200m T11 race. Photo Facebook/Lahja Ishitile PLY
