Debuts Starlink connectivity
Paratus Mozambique is participating in the Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit & Exhibition 2023, currently underway in Maputo).The summit coincides with Paratus’ celebration of six years of dedicated service in Mozambique and also with the telco’s announcement that it has established two more offices in the country. This allows Paratus to provide unrivalled cross-border connectivity between Mozambique, South Africa and beyond.
Rolf Mendelsohn, Chief Technology Officer of Paratus Group, is a keynote speaker at the technical seminar. Against the backdrop of the Paratus Group’s owned infrastructure and rapid expansion in Africa, Mendelsohn gives valuable insights into the future of connectivity, and how the pan-African telco is able to support the now thriving oil and gas industry in Mozambique with fast, robust connectivity solutions across the region.
Paratus Mozambique also demos its Starlink connectivity to mark Paratus’ partnership deal with the global low earth orbit (LEO) satellite operator. Mozambique will be the first country in Africa to benefit from the Paratus-Starlink partnership which will bring high-speed satellite internet to remote and under-served industries and communities across the nation.
