Gourmet Barbequed Beef Burger, Fries and Salad

Ingredients
• 100g beef lean mince
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1tsp chopped onion
• 1clove garlic crushed
• 1 tsp chopped thyme
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup bread crumbs
• Pinch salt & pepper
• 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese

• Burger roll
• 1/2 cup cooking oil
• 2 slices grilled tomato
• 2 rashers grilled bacon
• 1 large peeled potato and cut for French fries
• Handful lettuce
• 3 slices cucumber
• 4 cubes feta cheese
• 2 olives
• 2 slices onion rings
For BBQ Sauce
• 1/3 cup pineapple
• 1/3 cup green, red and yellow pepper
• ½ cup tomato sauce
• 2 tsp soya sauce
• 1/3 cup vinegar
• 1/3 cup honey
For onion ring mix
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1 egg
• 1 cup milk
• 1tsp Cajun spice
• Seasoning
Method
• In a bowl place mince, garlic ,onion, mustard, thyme ,egg ,bread crumbs and season.
• Mould and refrigerate
• For the bbq sauce place oil in sauce pan and add all the peppers and pineapple and sauté for 2 mins ,add the wet ingredients and leave to cook for 5 mins .
• Grill your burger pate and place it in the bbq sauce.
• Add grated cheese on the pate and place under the salamander
• Cut your burger pate and grill it on the flat grill till crispy on both sides
• Meanwhile make your fries and salad and set aside
• For the onion ring mix place dry ingredients in a bowl and add milk
• Cut desired size for onion rings and dip in the mix, fry in a hot chip fryer and remove once brown and crispy.
• Plate your burger pate, bacon, tomato and serve with fries and cucumber .
