Go2 transfers available countrywide

Travelling has never been this easy
Gondwana Collection Namibia launched nine transfer routes to Namibia’s top destinations! Bookable as from 20 May 2022 and operational as from 1 June 2022, Go2 will be providing a daily hop-on hop-off transport service for all travellers.
The popular hospitality company is thrilled to finally be offering the Go2 Traveller Transfers, which has been a long-time dream of theirs, making travelling in Namibia a breeze. Always wanting to provide a link between their lodges that are positioned along the classic routes throughout the country, the Gondwana team explains how this service will provide unprecedented freedom of movement and ease of travel.
The routes include the Fish River Canyon, Namib and Kalahari deserts, Damaraland, Swakopmund and Etosha National Park. Gondwana has gone one step further and is offering the transfer service not only for guests staying at their properties but for all visitors to Namibia.
This couldn’t have come at a better time, when only a third of the car rentals that were on offer in pre-Covid days are presently available. The massive shortage in rental cars is set to continue for some time with vehicle production delayed and exacerbated by events like the floods in Kwazulu-Natal, while the demand continually increases as the world opens its doors once again to travellers. Namibia is increasingly becoming a destination added to traveller’s wish lists as world travel resumes.
Ideal means of travel
The Go2 Traveller Transfers is the ideal means of travel for people who prefer not to drive themselves, but who would like to retain their independence and choice of destinations, as well as for tour operators who can book multiple transfers around the country for their guests. Additional benefits of Go2 are the saving on fuel costs and the expense of paying for a hire vehicle when it is stationary at a lodge.
Geared to both locals and the overseas market, the comfortable, affordable and reliable service provides easy getaways to destinations like Sossusvlei, even for a weekend. The transfers leave in the morning from Windhoek to the Kalahari, Swakopmund, Etosha and Sossusvlei; and from Sossusvlei to the Kalahari; Swakopmund to Sossusvlei and Damaraland; Etosha to Damaraland. And three times per week from the Kalahari to the Fish River Canyon in southern Namibia, as well!
The return trips are in the early afternoon. Passengers can be dropped off at their respective destinations along the pre-set routes. Vehicles range in size from Quantums and Sprinters to 4x4 Iveco Busses. Each leg of the journey costs N$690 per person and single and multiple trips can be booked online at www.go2.na.
While providing the Go2 Traveller Transfers, Gondwana continues to offer its selection of vehicles from Namibia2Go for self-drivers, satisfying all travelling styles and individual tastes.
