More flights to Lüderitz
FlyNamibia, in collaboration with TotalEnergies, plans to enhance the capacity of the Windhoek to Lüderitz route, which operates on weekdays. The goal is to bolster the sustainability of this route, inaugurated on 1 July 2023, and serving 5 000 passengers since its inception.In a media statement, FlyNamibia attributed this achievement to TotalEnergies, acknowledging its pivotal role in facilitating access to Namibia's southwest region. Changes include implementing dynamic pricing from 18 April 2024, and potentially adjusting flight schedules to better suit passenger demand.
Furthermore, FlyNamibia announced the opening of a new office at Lüderitz's Waterfront (Old Power Station). This permanent establishment will enable the airline to provide more personalized and direct services to customers and the local community.
Andre Compion, FlyNamibia's Managing Director, expressed gratitude for the partnership with TotalEnergies, emphasising their commitment to continuously improving customer service.
Laurent Roché, TotalEnergies Country Chair, commended the success of the Windhoek-Lüderitz route and endorsed the changes as vital for its sustainability and affordability to the Lüderitz community.
