Sponsorship for NYEF expansion

The Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF) has secured sponsorship from FNB Namibia to establish its Lüderitz branch. This collaboration aligns with NYEF’s nationwide expansion strategy to engage youth across all 14 regions of Namibia.
As a leading platform for young Namibians in the energy sector – including Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, and Renewable Energy – NYEF is committed to empowering youth to actively contribute to shaping the country's energy future. The sponsorship from FNB Namibia highlights a shared commitment to equipping young people with the education, resources, and support needed to pursue opportunities within the energy industry.
NYEF founder and chairperson, Fanuel Shinedima, expressed gratitude for the support, stating, “This sponsorship is not only a boost for NYEF but also an investment in the future of Namibian youth. With FNB Namibia’s backing, we can provide more resources, mentorship, and opportunities vital for the development of young leaders in the energy sector. We encourage all stakeholders to support Namibian youth in shaping the nation’s energy landscape.”
The partnership will allow NYEF to enhance its educational programs, workshops, and networking events, fostering a more engaged and informed youth demographic. By creating tangible opportunities such as scholarships, internships, and entrepreneurial support, NYEF aims to nurture a new generation of change-makers focused on driving sustainable energy solutions in Namibia.
FNB Namibia’s commitment to corporate social responsibility aligns perfectly with NYEF's mission to inspire and empower young Namibians. Together, they seek to build a brighter, more sustainable future for Namibia’s energy sector, promoting innovation and long-term growth.
