Spanish sounds in NTN
From Coast to Coast: Sounds of the Two Shores is hosted by the Embassy of Spain in Windhoek this evening.The concert features renowned Spanish baritone Luís Llaneza, accompanied by Namibian pianist Christiane Ast and Namibian violinist Jurgen Kries.
Through the voice of Llaneza, the audience is taken on a musical journey through Spain and Latin America. A journey filled with rhythms, colours, melodies, and the aromas of a shared culture that mutually enriches both sides of the ocean, drawing from both the chamber music and theatrical repertoire.
This unique event promises to be an enchanting evening of music, celebrating the rich cultural ties between Spain and Namibia. The concert starts at 19:00 at the National Theatre of Namibia and is free of charge. However, tickets must be collected from NTN during office hours: 08:00-13:00 and from 14:00-17:00, or at the Spanish embassy from 09:00 to 13:00-14:00 to 15:00.
