In a remarkable showcase of innovation and empowerment, the second edition of the Future Females Windhoek Business Expo unfolded on Saturday at the Wanderers Sport Club Hall.
The event, aimed at celebrating and promoting female entrepreneurship, brought together a diverse array of talent, including over 20 exhibitors from various industries and speakers to host talks on ways to properly manage one's business.
One standout exhibitor, Kornelia Kondja, founder of Grace Gras Empire, captivated attendees with her passion for fragrances. Her business, founded earlier this year, specialises in crafting quality, long-lasting fragrances, encompassing an impressive range of home fragrances, scented candles and car diffusers.

Space to thrive
Kondja shared her vision at the expo.
"Grace Gras Empire is not just about selling fragrances; it's about creating memorable experiences through scents. We are looking to scale later this year and also venture into perfume scents."
The event provided a platform for numerous talented women to showcase their ventures, demonstrating the diversity and dynamism of female-led businesses in Windhoek.
Adele Oosthuizen, the brand ambassador for Future Females Namibia, a network of female entrepreneurs committed to supporting and empowering women in business, was delighted with the turnout and energy of the event. "Our goal is to provide a space where female entrepreneurs can thrive, connect and inspire each other," she said.
"The Future Females Windhoek Business Expo is just one of the ways we're making this vision a reality."
Expo attendees also had the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs and gain valuable insights from speakers such as the managing director of Liberty Life, Monique Cloete, and the director of Nomad Group, Mariane Akwenye, who shared their success stories and advice for aspiring businesswomen.
Attendees had a blast and left feeling empowered. Attendee Shanique Venter said: "This expo is not just about business; it's about empowerment, encouragement, and collaboration. It's a celebration of what women can achieve when they come together and support one another. I had an awesome time, and I look forward to the next one."
