Paarl Boys High back to challenge at Youth Festival

Day 2 of the 2024 edition of the Namibia Youth Rugby Festival will see seven under-19 schools teams in action.
The tournament hosted at Trustco United field in Olympia once again features four visiting schoolboy teams from South Africa, including Paarl Boys High (winners in 2023).
The event kicked off yesterday with late-afternoon matches pitting three Namibian schools against South African opposition, namely M&K Gertze (Rehoboth) vs Paarl Boys High, followed by Windhoek High School vs Stellenberg, followed by HTS Windhoek vs UXI Western Province Academy.
TODAY’s fixtures: HTS Windhoek vs Paarl Boys High (17:00); Windhoek High School vs SA Dream Hunters.
WEDNESDAY: SA Dream Hunters vs UXI Western Province Academy (17:00); M&K Gertze vs Stellenberg (18:30).
THURSDAY: Dawid Bezuidenhout vs SA Dream Hunters (13:00); HTS Windhoek vs Stellenberg (14:30); M&K Gertze vs UXI Western Province Academy (15:50); Windhoek High School vs Paarl Boys High.
Friday is a rest day for all teams, with a holiday rugby clinic on offer from 08:30 to 13:00.
Playoffs for final positions are to be played on Saturday, namely the bowl final (for 5th place) at 08:10; shield final (for third) at 09:40, and the cup final at 11:10.
Entrance tickets are N$20 for school kids and pensioners, N$30 for adults and N$20 for parking.
